My brother and I originally rebuilt this nice Rendezvous CX Plus to replace our parents' old minivan, and it's been a good vehicle and a great ride. They've since realized though that they no longer need this much room, and are just hoping to downsize a bit. "Before" photos are available upon request (basically we just had to replace a torn bumper cover, bent fender and broken head light enclosures). Anyway, it's got all the usual trim goodies you'd expect: - Powered sunroof / seat controls / locks / windows / mirrors / etc. - Alloy wheels and all-wheel disc brakes. - Up to 7 seats (both rear rows are foldable and removable). - Dual-zone climate control w/ good A/C. - Toggle-able Traction Control, Cruise Control, etc. - Driver Info Center w/ compass, outside temperature, MPG and oil life readings, etc. - Fog lights and automatic headlights. - Rear 12v port and backup sensors. - Occupant-sensing passenger airbag. - Leather/cloth seats (see photos). - Covered rear storage bins and fold-flat rear seat row. - Has a potential towing capacity of about 1 ton, and I've seen tow kits available for it from U-Haul. Other perks and recent work: - Comes with three keys. - Tires are in very good shape. - Premium amplifier and upgraded speakers. - Will come with a decent aftermarket stereo, although it may not be the one pictured (it's a recent thing and we haven't decided yet which one fits best). - New exterior head/taillight bulbs, with upgraded housings. - New front windshield (didn't take care of a rock chip fast enough). - New windshield washer fluid pump and Body Control Module (preventative maintenance). - New trans fluid and filter (regular maintenance). Quirks and future work needed: - It's about halfway to the next oil change. - I'd recommend a coolant flush before your next long road trip. - I haven't checked the brake measurements and don't recall what they were at last inspection, but they should be good for a while. - There's no OnStar (it came with the analog version that GM no longer uses). - Has a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), but will need new valve stems at next tire change for it to work. - Driver seat lumbar knob is currently missing (I will probably replace it, but it's still adjustable). - Part of a middle seat lift handle is missing. - Has some cracked plastic in the back, and some normal minor scuffs, scratches, and small stains due to age. When inspected 6 months ago, the mileage was 129,460. Other mileage entries document the mileage as being accurate.As you can see, for some reason, instead of the odometer reading, the word "ERROR" shows up on the dashboard.Truck starts, runs and drives very nicely.Truck was never racked and is being sold in "As Is" condition.This truck goes to the highest bidder!No Reserve! No Buy It Now! Please Don't Ask!Tires are very good and the brakes feel fine.Truck sat for a long time and the battery ran low. As a result, the on-board computer needs to be reset in order to pass the emission part of the NY State inspection.I drove the truck for an hour on the highway and locally and the monitors did not reset.These vehicles sometimes needs 100's of miles of driving for the computer to re-learn emission protocol.I don't have the time or inclination to go through this exhaustive process. It's an older truck with a couple of body flaws and inoperative odometer (speedometer works).Bid with confidence and drive it home.There are no warranties or guarantees.Oil is dirty - could use an oil change.When first starting there is a minor audible ticking noise for a couple of minutes. Then quiet smooth and runs like new.No noise for the rest of the day - was told a lifter needs to pump up.Doing the oil change will probably help. Because this vehicle will not pass NY State inspection ... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification.
